Prepare for a long wait - you can go out and come back (you'll get an estimated wait time). Japan is usually simple with food; you get what you pay for. This place is low priced, but it's clean, neat and works like a charm. The food was good!

Kura sushi was really tasty.Being from England we weren't able to understand the log in system for us to wait, so we approached the counter and asked if someone spoke English which someone did and helped us get a ticket to wait.The first time we went they called our number in English but our second visit they didn't but we looked up our ticket number in Japanese just incase. Lucky!The place was clean and the staff were friendly. They helped us understand how to pick up a dish off the conveyor belt and how to order. The electronic tablets also had an English option and were easy to select from.The food was always amazing and the drinks were fresh and cold too.You slide the dish in the slot when you have finished for a chance to win a gachapon.I loved the experience and it was great value for money!

Everything was so good! Highly recommended for those looking for 100 yen sushi!

The wait was far too long (1.5 hours)! Aside from that though, the restaurant is so much fun, the service is friendly, and I enjoyed my time there very much. The conveyor belt makes it interesting for everyone (along with the game every 5 plates) and the cheap price also has such a high appeal. Assuming I can avoid the long wait next time, I would be happy to go back.

Awesome 100 yen sushi! This really is the full Japanese sushi train experience! You can either take items off the sushi train or you can order via a tablet and your order gets delivered by a sushi "bullet train"! It's really cool!

Novelty of this place is enough to bring us back again the next time we are Tokyo.We think that the dishes here are reasonably priced. Eat at your leisure within the privacy and confines of each sitting booth which may sit one or more.They have a game where you place 5 plates into a designated slot at your table for a chance to win a Japanese Toy. Fun and efficient.Overall a good experience for us.

Affordable and nice sushi place

Loved this place! Food was great, you can visit alone or with friends and because you sit at a bar like area, no one looks alone. Good prices, lots of variety.

The place is really neat and the service is quick. There are many choices of cheap sushi. The best thing is I don't like sushi, but other foods that they offer taste good as well. Better to sit on the counter side when it looks crowded, but if you go before the rush hour, sit on the table side is more comfortable. My friend who eat sushi there told me that the fish is really fresh, and their tuna is the best (taste a little bit sweet).

Very popular 100yen sushi train- definitely book in advance or find something to do in the area while waiting as they will give you an estimate time(1.5hr+ on Sat night). You can order on an iPad in English. Pretty wide selection and decent quality for the price. Gachapon every 5 plates is a fun bonus.

It's a very busy place but it is with the wait. They have a good variety of dishes. They often change the menu, so you'll always something new and delicious to enjoy.

Great place to go. The front machine has two buttons. Left for table. Right for counter. Then number of people. Then confirm. It's not in English. Table iPad can be set to English with top tight button. Enjoy!!!!

Great fun place to visit once in a while. Just don't expect much in terms of quality of sushi.

I go whenever I can. Cheap, not best sushi, if you are food junky like me, don't miss. I usually have 12 to 15 every time. Their dessert is OK too, but, no Coke!! Some kuras are better than the other, but overall, can't go wrong. Go early or later of their congested meal time, you can wait hours if you are a group n sitting together, one person, I'll say 15 minutes.

If you're a tourist, I definitely recommend this place for their interesting experience!! You will see gacha-gacha machine on top of each tables. When you eat 5 plates of sushi and slide them into the slot on your table, you get to watch a short animation that determines whether you will win a toy! If you're lucky, you'll go home with more than just a tummy full of good food!

Amazing. No wonder this place has lines in the middle of the week. Great food and super cheap prices. A must for anyone visiting Tokyo.

My first in Japan and was recommended this sushi restaurant with cheap price. I loved it the moment I tried it. Believe me, this branch's seafood yukhoe was sooooooo god I ate so much. I think I came here multiple times during my stay in Japan. You got to play with the games on the screen which gives you a small prize (when you insert 5 plates in). Sushis were so amazing. If you're in Ikebukuro, please come to Kura Sushi, you won't regret it.

Wait was about an 1.5 hours, price was decent as most plates were 100yen. Fun and enjoyable game played using the number of plates you ate.

Gachapon game is fun, we even won only on our second go. But the quality of the sushi is very poor. If you want cheap sushi, visiting a standing sushi bar will be better value for money.

Food was really nice and price was good, but the waiting time was kind of horrible. First we had to wait for an hour. After an hour we asked for our number. Oh it had passed. But we kept a look on the board but never saw it. No they just called our number... in Japanese, so we missed it. Then they gave us a table 10 minutes later. Lucky the food was good. If waiting time was better I would have given 5 Stars.

This is a conveyor belt type sushi place. You can grab pre-made items that circle around periodically or you can order from an ipad type device and it gets delivered to your seat by a separate conveyor belt. Turn around time for custom orders is usually 2-3 minutes. This place was a popular location so there was a wait. There is a queue for counter type seating which was a shorter wait vs. booth type seating which had a much longer wait. We choose the counter and our group of 5 split up into groups of 2 & 3. It was fine.The food was of pretty good quality and good taste as well as variety. Most dishes were 100 yen but there were some higher priced items. I am not a big sushi connoisseur so my palate is not sensitive to really good vs. just ok sushi though. All of us enjoyed the meal.

It was a long wait for dinner, but I can see why. 100Â¥ sushi plates! The quality and freshness isn't as great as some more expensive sushi restaurants, but the novelty and price is definitely there. Once seated, everything comes to you by automation. You have the Sushi train, then when you order something, it comes to you by another line, above the train. Lots of fun, every 5 plates you hand back, a game is played to win a small toy. My son loved this. All in all, a good experience and had a lot of food for less than AUD45.

What's not to love about delicious 100 yen sushi with the chance to win a prize every five plates? Only downer for me was that there wasn't as much choice as other places, otherwise a great cheap feed in an awesome neighbourhood

It's good to be able to choose the sushi you want. It is very cheap at 100 yen per plate. But it's better not to lean on the taste. I don't recommend sushi if you're a gourmet because most sushi is smelly.

On a weekend night, without booking it is a long wait in. We waited 1hour. Price wise, the most affordable. Good food but there are non halal items served (pork dishes) but the rice are made with no alcohol in it.

Good sushi for it's price. There are better sushi out there but this one of not too bad on a budget. There is also a gachapon game ever 5 plates you can get a random draw. Just slide the plates in the plate area. It makes the experience fun.

Waited over an hour to get a table, but it was worth it. Great price and great food.

It was fun to eat there and the prices are pretty good. We had to wait for 40 minutes to get seated during the busy time, but it was well worth it. For each 5 plates u finish, u get the chance to win a prize, and the order delivery is also fun. Great for groups and couples!

100yen sushi place. Sushi is great, especially for the price. For every five plates you get to play a game, but we never won!You can make hot green tea at your table and water is available for free.Great place for a low cost meal

Dining sushi with low price. It's always crowded. You have to wait, especially for lunch and dinner time. But it's worth to wait.

Encourages kids to clean up after themselves.Food is good for a 100 yenFor anyone that doesn't speak Japanese. At the terminal I suggest clicking on the right hand side icon. Google translate the ticket number and listen out for your ticket in Japanese.The left icon books a table for you and provides an estimated return time (I think)

Cheap but still tasty

Great sushi restaurant with various choices ranging from sushi, tempura, side dishes and desserts. Great deal ranging from 100¥ onwards. I recommend reserving seats via E-Park online so it won’t take so much waiting time (though you have to be at least knowledgeable of Japanese numbering system because the staff only calls in Japanese). Kura Sushi also has a gachapon game to play with, with multi-language menu touch pad.

Inexpensive and fast, great quality sushi too. Good variety of drinks, desserts and sushi.

Wonderful meal and experience! I highly recommend getting your ticket/reserving your spot ~2 hours earlier at a minimum than when you plan to want to eat. The wait isn't bad because you can leave and do other things while you wait for your time slot. We were called about 20 minutes earlier than the time slot once, but your number stays on the screen for a while after so don't worry! The sushi and other items were great and the prices were even better for the quality received!

More like "fast food styled sushi" BUT really tasty and cheap. 100yen sushi. You can order using touchscreens and your order will arrive directly at your table. English version is available. There will be waiting times to get a table but it's worth it.

Food was so so but cheap at 100jpy per dish. The gaming side was gimmicky. Book a table else you might have a long wait.
